| This is charcol stick on tetxtured paper. The lack of a point on the charcol stick makes this less precise than a pencil drawing but then this is a large post card sized drawing and charcol stick woul probably work better for larger drawings. | |

| A quick sketch, Staedler pencils on moleskin drawing pad smooth paper of red chillis in a jar. The scissors are made with a mechanical pencil and the lower pressure makes them lighter. | |

| The above shoe is on the textured canson paper, while the one below in on the smooth moleskin paper. Note the difference in the final effect. Using pencil on paper a smooth hard paper seems to give a more realistic effect. | |
